Guess after two years its time to update huh. :) As of now we have a 1st grader, 2nd grader, 6th grader and 8th grader. busy busy busy pretty much sums up whats going on. Ali and I are trying to raise money for her choir trip to France in June. They are singing for the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Pretty cool. Going to spend about 10 days there. So excited!!! Anyway, Im now working at the kids school in the spec ed unit and LOVE it. Besides the scratching, kicking , biting everyday but that's part of the job. John is still working at home and traveling a lot. Ali is invovled in the choir and is getting ready for a major surgery. check other blog. our twisted journey. David just got student of the month at his school. woohoo! Way to go david! Austin is doing well in school and only has a few problems here and there with being off task. Joshy is also doing great. He loves going to school with mommy!! Well, speaking of school I guess I should get ready to leave. Its raining right now but weather says it should stop before all the trick or treating tonight.

HELLO!!! Wow. Has it really almost been a year since I have blogged... I guess I have done more Facebooking than blogging.... Well here's what happend since last june....

We had another family trip to Disneyland last summer, Had a 5th and 3rd grader, Austin was able to go to pre-k (did awesome), Ali won first at her school spelling B, Mom and Cindy came to Texas for Christmas, I started working in our schools subbing, JOhn has been crazy busy working and traveling, Josh, Ali, Austin have all had birthdays,,, Ali's trip is amost here...!!

Yes The boys will leave in about a month to spend some time with Cindy and Mom while I accompany Alicia to Washington DC with the Texas Childrens Choir. They will be at the Natn'l Gallery of Art, Steps of Capital, Natn'l Cathedral, and a few other places.... Her and I are sooo excited... After the trip is over we then get to drive up in a CAR to Utah to spend the rest of June and part of July with the family up there.

So I havent been so good at updating my blog since being on Facebook all the time. Here we are now to June so I have to say an great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DAVID today. He is now 8 years old. WE have a great big weekend ahead of us. He is getting baptized on Sunday. He finished 2nd grade and is looking forward to 3rd. He had a great day today and Nana took us all out for lunch then she had time with just him and he went shopping for toys!!!! He got a new star wars Wii game, clothes, Bakugan toys, magic color book thing and still waiting to come in the mail are his new sandals and some games for his DS. We will have a family party after his baptism Sunday when they are all going to be at the house for dinner. YAY!!! I'll post pics next time.

We have really enjoyed being in Texas. Alicia was able to Join a great childrens choir called the Texas Childrens Choir. They are actually going on tour next June '11 In DC. Singing for flag day at the capitol, singing at the nat'l museum of Art, and more..... She is in the front row sandwiched between the boys.

They had about 6 weeks to learn 2 songs in GERMAN and they did a great job. This was a BACH performance. The songs were from early Bach.

Im trying to edit my blog but for some reason I cant do anything!!!! trying to take off the music and put on one from my Daughter. She got to sing the national Anthem at the Spurs/Oklahoma basketball game but I cant do anything to put it on here..... so frustrating... sooo.. The REBEL in you....

I have been working with another company for our estore. We finally got the account and I'm SOOO Excited. They do shirts for baby and toddlers that are more of a rebel style. For some reason the pictures wont upload so I guess I will have to work faster to add to our site. Some of them include: daddy's/mommy's little tax deduction, Fastest swimmer, Eat at MOMS, I live in a gated community, Fight for your right.... to POTTY , My auntie rocks, etc. Come check em out. BOWS

I went over to my friends house last night for a "Bow making" party. I had so much fun. I have tons of ribbon and now I know how to make bows for Ali. She went with me and had fun gluing the flowers on and working on the barrettes. Thanks Sharon for showing me how to make a bow. I dont think mine will ever look like yours!!!!

Can you see a purple theme. This is also her ponytail holder. I have a feeling we will be making a bunch more of these or the flower barretts. She had fun making those.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!!

Today two years ago I got a very welcomed call. John and I were literally on our way out the door to go to a Elders Quorum Party at the park. The phone rang and I went back to get it. IT WAS THE HOSPITAL!!!! They asked me if I wanted to be induced today instead of tomorrow (sunday as they always get busy on sunday). Can I say I LOVE JAN!!!!! She is the head nurse and the one that told them to give me a call. OF COURSE I WILL COME TODAY. We just had to run a quick errand first. Ran the rootbeer extract over to the EQ party and told them sorry we couldnt stay but we were off to have a baby. Got to the hospital about 1130 and finally had josh about 730 pm just after Jan left for home!!!



I cant believe its been two years already. Joshy is just a joy to have. I love hearing all the new words he is trying to say now. He is just like is bigger brothers. We have also been in our new home in Tx now for a year. We moved when he was just 11 months old. We are glad we did but still miss our friends back home in CO and CA. We have enjoyed our ward here and have some really great friends.
